Ultimate Festival

Look back to the first
ULTIMATE FESTIVAL.

Brought to you by Eintracht Frankfurt e.V. and the Empowering Women in Ultimate Frisbee project team, everyone attending had a weekend of fun, frisbee, workshops, socialising and much more. 

This weekend was about empowering and connecting women in the European Ultimate community, and celebrating our project teams.

• Time : Arrival Friday afternoon/night, End Sunday afternoon,
  exact times tbd.
• Spots : 24 teams
• Playing mode : 5 vs 5
• Cost : 250€ teamfee, probably small players fee
• Sleeping : Gym floor in walking distance
• Food : Breakfast is included, 
  lovely buffet during the day (bring plate/box and cutlery)
  Dinner probably included
• Party: yes!

Over 20 teams from around Europe and further afield had been taking part in the EWUF project so far. We have been focusing on playing, coaching and growing. This ultimate festival gave the chance to celebrate with the wider community all the work we have been doing. Project teams had first preference to sign up.

Participants got between three and four games in a five aside setting. We had a grass field and an astro pitch so plastic studs were needed. We provided sleeping availability in the gym and the workshops were on site. Shuttle busses from the airport could be arranged upon request. Also, we were organising childcare option for limited times. 

Workshops included coaching skills, getting confident on the field and some of our most-liked activities from the project. Participants had enough time to visit one or two workshops and returned with some new ideas for their team.
